INTENSIVE RUSSIAN

Intensive Russian Language Programs in Moscow

Language Link’s Centre for Russian Language and Culture Studies is running a series of intensive Russian language courses annually.

Minimum length of a course is two weeks and starting dates in 2015 are following below:

Classes are usually held in small groups (up to 6 participants) with each group receiving 20 academic hours of Russian language tuition per week. Extra weeks may be added to the program if desired.

Who can participate?

Anybody with a “beginner” to intermediate level of Russian may participate in Language Link’s Intensive Russian Language Programs.

If you are unsure what is your current level of Russian language proficiency, we invite you to take a test online. In any case, you will be tested at the start of your course to ensure that you are placed in a group matching your Russian language skills and experience in the best way.

If you are already in Moscow and DO NOT NEED an invitation letter and accommodation, you can enroll for the Intensive Course and join any current group as well.

Where are the Intensive Russian Language Programs based?

Intensive courses take place at Language Link’s Central School in Moscow. The School is located in the heart of Moscow and is just 5 minutes walk from Novoslobodskaya Metro station. You will be provided with modern bright classrooms equipped with the standard set of teaching aids: a CD/MP3 player, a white board, tables and/or desks. The department also has access to audiovisual equipment.

Who are the teachers?

The courses will be taught by highly qualified members of Language Link’s teaching staff. All teachers are multilingual and experienced specialists from top Russian universities. They have an extensive experience in teaching Russian as a Foreign Language and will do their best to ensure that you get maximum results.

Is there an excursion package included?

Excursion package may be included in the course upon request. If you would like to experience cultural life in Moscow, feel free to inform us when sending you application. Those who choose to include an excursion package in their program may be offered the excursions presented here.

Please remember that an excursion package is a subject of availability.

What type of accommodation is offered?

For those who need accommodation, we can offer Home Stay option. All students choosing this option will live with an upstanding Russian family in their home. They will have access to a toilet, bath/shower, kitchen to eat meals and a bedroom to themselves. Breakfast is included in all program home-stay plans. Home stay families are located no further than a thirty-minute metro ride from the school. Home stay is a unique opportunity to practice your spoken Russian skills and feel at home.
